LONDON, AMSTERDAM - December 3, 2012: Proxima, a leading international procurement services provider, announced today that it has appointed Jeroen Huisman as a Client Services Director, further strengthening its continental European client team.
Based in Amsterdam, Jeroen will be responsible for building on the success of an already strong roster of continental European clients, including CSM, BG Group and British Airways.
Jeroen joins Proxima’s European operation from Accounting Plaza, where he held the position of Commercial Director. He brings to Proxima extensive experience of procurement and business process management, particularly within the retail sector, a core focus area for Proxima.
This appointment boosts Proxima’s international team as it continues its drive into European and American markets. The company, which now manages more than $10 billion worth of clients’ costs annually, has European presence in United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and the Nordics. In addition to this, it delivers client services from offices in Chicago (Illinois) and Los Angeles (California) in North America.
